Performance Profile

The Performance Profile is a tool for monitoring and operational evaluation, from which information about completed and ongoing operations, as well as the results obtained, can be extracted.

To open the Performance Profile, go to the Trade menu:

Filters

In the top bar of the window, use the filters to select the account, the asset, and the period to be displayed in the report:

In the Frequency menu, select Custom to set start and end dates for the analysis:

Summary Tab

The Summary tab contains general performance information according to the frequency selected in the filter:

Total Net Profit: Shows the result of the difference between Total Profit and Total Loss, after deducting the costs registered on the platform.

Total Profit: The result of gains from all operations.

Total Loss: The sum of all operations where a loss was incurred.

Profit Factor: Division of Total Profit by Total Loss.

Winning Trades Percentage: Calculated as follows: Winning Trades X (Closed Trades + Losing Trades).

Avg Win/Loss Ratio: Divides the Average of Winning Trades by the Average of Losing Trades.

Max Shares/Contracts: The largest position (open or closed) counted in number of contracts for the selected asset. If the All option is selected in the Asset field, this information returns empty [-].

Account Size Required (Largest Trade): The amount needed to be positioned in the trade with the greatest exposed capital, based on the value required to buy/sell a given asset.

Return on Initial Capital: Net profit over the highest exposed purchase value.

Max Equity: The maximum profit the user obtained during the operations.

When exporting reports from the Summary tab, a PDF document will be generated. It is also possible to generate CSV files through the Operations tab:

Charts and Trades Tab

The Charts and Trades tab gathers detailed information on completed and ongoing operations performed in the selected period and account, and also allows viewing in charts.

Table:

Header

Total PnL- Shows the gross result of the operations;

Total Profit - Sum of the results of all operations that generated profit;

Total Loss - Sum of the results of all operations that generated loss;

Trades - Number of operations displayed in the filter;

Winning - Percentage of total operations that generated profit; and

Costs - Costs generated from the displayed operations.

Columns

Asset - Ticker of the traded asset;

Exchange - Broker

Open - Date and time when the operation started;

Close - Date and time when the operation ended;

Op Time - Time the operation remained open in the market;

Qty - Total quantity of the traded asset;

Buy Price - Average purchase price of the operation;

Sell Price - Average sale price of the operation;

TBT - Time between trades, i.e., how long it took to open a new operation after closing the previous one;

Average - Shows if the entry value of the operation was lower than the entry value of the previous operation in the case of a purchase/higher in the case of a sale;
Ag Buy / Ag Sell - Shows the buy and sell aggressions related to the operation. When showing a "-" status, it means the information is unknown.

Max Gain / Max Loss - Shows the possible maximum gain/loss based on exposure. Note: When there are partials, gain/loss is based on the quantity that had the highest gain or loss.

Interval PnL- Result of the operation within the filtered interval.

Trade PnL - Gross result of the operation;

MPE - Maximum Positive Exposure, the most positive result the operation had before closing, very similar to the candle wick; and

MNE - Maximum Negative Exposure, the most negative result the operation had before closing, also very similar to the candle wick.

To determine which columns will be displayed in these tabs (Asset, Opening, Closing, Duration...), right-click on the tool and select Performance Profile Properties.

Use the arrows to move items to the Visible Columns list and the Up and Down buttons to organize:

Chart

In the PnL Chart, the line represents the equity (balance) variations according to the result of the day or selected period. This data is updated in real time during operations:

 

In the Trades Chart, individual results of each operation within the selected period are shown. In green, profitable operations, and in red, losing operations:

 

The Efficiency Chart shows a percentage accuracy rate of the performed operations. In green, winning trades, in red, losing trades, and in gray, closed trades with no profit or loss:

 

The Orders Chart displays the balance reached in each completed trade:
